Today am sharing the pattern for this Easy Crochet Blanket With Bar Stitch. The Crochet Bar stitch is super simple and it creates beautiful and rich texture to the blanket. I have used single color yarn for this blanket but you can make yours using different color blocks or pretty variegated yarn or Yarn Cakes. Create this quick warm textured blanket crochet for yourself or for your loved ones.

8 Ply Cotton Yarn

5 mm Crochet Hook

Step 1:

Step 2:

Round 1:-

Start with a Slip Knot.

Chain 100.

This measures around 25 inches.

You can adjust the size of the blanket by altering these stitches according to your requirement.

Step 3:

Round 2:-

1 Single Crochet in the Second Chain from the hook.

1 Single Crochet each in the remaining stitches.

Chain 1 and turn your project.

Step 4:

Round 3:-

1 Single Crochet each stitch.

Chain 1 and turn your project.

Step 5:

Round 4:-

1 Single Crochet each in the first 2 stitches.

1 Front post Double Crochet in the next stitch, but instead of inserting the hook in the next stitch, Insert your hook into the stitch which is one row below the current row stitch. i.e the previous round.

Repeat(1SC*2, 1FPDC in the previous round)

Chain 1 and Turn.
